New Glarus Woods State Park is a Wisconsin state park. The 431-acre park featuring rolling hills covered by a mix of forest and prairie just south of the village of New Glarus. The Sugar River State Trail connects to the park, making the park accessible by bike.

The Sugar River State Trail is a 24-mile (39 km) long, 265-acre, recreation rail trail in Wisconsin.

This trail connects four communities: New Glarus, Monticello, Albany and Brodhead. The limestone-surfaced trail is on an abandoned railroad bed, and is used for bicycling, hiking, and snowmobiling
